Grade 70 chain offers excellent wear resistant properties.

Winch Strap Assemblies

Standard winch strap assemblies in 3” or 4” widths and 30’ length built for rugged use to tie down cargo on flatbed trucks and trailers.

Hercules SLR also manufactures a complete line of cargo restraint equipment that is heavy duty, wear and weather resistant, designed and manufactured for demanding conditions of flat bed trailers. 10,000 and 18,000 pounds ratchet buckle strap assemblies and a variety of webbing and end fittings are available for you to tailor a tie down system exactly for your application.

If not damaged, your hardware can be re-used to build a tie down with new nylon webbing.

Safety Information

• For safe operation all winches should be installed with the ratchet pawl on top of the ratchet wheel so that the pawl drops into the ratchet wheel by gravity.

• Use a winch bar when tightening or loosening winches.

• Never let go a winch bar without checking that the pawl has fully engaged a ratchet wheel tooth.

WARNING

On and after January 1, 2010, a person shall not use a tiedown or a component of a tiedown to secure cargo to a vehicle unless it is marked by the manufacturer with respect to its working load limit.

NSC Standard 10 was approved by the Council of Ministers Responsible for Transportation and Highway Safety in September 2004, and was implemented by Canadian provinces and territories by mid 2005.

Full compliance with the provisions of NSC Standard 10 Division 3 Section 11 (4) will be required and enforced on January 1, 2011.
